The Screen City Biennial Journal is the investigative, disseminative and intellectual pillar of the Biennial facilitating research on artistic practice and thinking in expanded moving image artworks with particular attention to the art’s interference with urban environments and urgencies. It presents theoretical articles, artist interviews, curatorial reflections and research papers from workshops and discussions that excavate new corners and critical perspectives on emergences in urban media art. Through a bi-monthly newsletter the Journal will extend and expand on the Biennial as a discursive platform for knowledge, questions and curiosities. Launches end of June 2017.
